Cookie Policy
Extended notice on the use of cookies pursuant to provision no. 229/2014 of the Italian Data Protection Authority and its Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021, for those who interact with the web services of Hotel Primo, accessible from www.hotelprimo.it. This document provides detailed information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, how they are used by Hotel Primo and how to manage them.
In short
This website does not place cookies on the user’s device and does not use profiling or advertising tools. For visitor statistics it uses Microanalytics, a cookie-free tool that produces only aggregate, anonymous data: for this reason, under the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021, no consent banner is required.
Definitions
Cookies are small text strings that the websites visited by the user send to their device (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on the user's next visit. Cookies are stored, according to the user's preferences, by the browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).
Types of cookies
Depending on their characteristics and use, cookies can be divided into several categories:
- Strictly necessary (technical) cookies. Essential for the website or a service requested by the user to work. They do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies. Used to collect and analyse website traffic and use, including in anonymous form.
- Profiling cookies. Persistent cookies used to identify (anonymously or not) the user's preferences, for example to show advertising in line with their interests. They require prior consent.
Duration of cookies
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the user logs out. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are also available on the user's subsequent visits. These are called persistent cookies, and their duration is set by the server when they are created.

Visitor statistics (Microanalytics)
To know how many people visit the website and which pages they view, the site uses Microanalytics (microanalytics.io), a statistics service with servers in the European Union. The tool does not place cookies and does not use fingerprinting: during the visit it saves the two items listed in the table in the browser’s session storage, which are deleted automatically when the tab is closed. For each page viewed it sends the page address, the referring page and the screen resolution; according to the provider, the IP address is not logged. The data is used only in aggregate form for this website’s statistics, is not combined with other information and is not used to profile users.
Under the conditions set out in the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021, this tool is treated as a technical cookie and does not require prior consent. If you prefer not to be counted, you can block the app.microanalytics.io script through your browser settings or extensions, with no effect on browsing.
The contact form does not use cookies: to protect it from automated submissions it uses a temporary code that is not stored on your device. Fonts and all images are hosted directly on the hotel’s server.

Some buttons and links lead to websites run by third parties, which may use their own cookies according to their own policies. These websites open only when the user selects them:
